NiteWave94 is the cinematic electronic project of Eduardo "Eddie" Ramirez, a multi-disciplinary producer, visual artist, and composer dedicated to the art of storytelling. Born in 1994, Eddie creates music that serves as a bridge between deep memories and modern production by blending the warmth of the 1980s with the driving energy of today’s electronic landscape.
The Root: A Childhood in SynthsThe NiteWave94 sound was born long before Eddie ever touched an instrument. Growing up in Nacogdoches, Texas, he was captivated by the music his mother played on cassette tapes, specifically the rich, synthesized textures of the 80s and 90s.The unique sound of organs, harpsichords, and early synth pads became the soundtrack to his youth. They were not just songs, they were feelings tied to late-night TV commercials, weekday nights, and the comfort of weekend mornings.
The Evolution: Finding a VoiceWhile his musical journey truly intensified in 2023, Eddie has been a self-taught keyboardist since 2016. His technical path began with the foundational loops of GarageBand, a period of experimentation that eventually sparked a transition into advanced production within FL Studio.Today, Eddie’s compositions are driven by his MIDI keyboard and the cutting-edge expressiveness of the ROLI Seaboard. By mastering these instruments, he has developed a signature style where every melody is physically performed, ensuring that each note carries the emotional weight of a story that words alone cannot reach.
The Legacy: A Heartfelt IdentityEvery element of the NiteWave94 identity is deeply personal and defines the mission of the project:• "Nite" is a heartfelt tribute to his late sister-in-law, Nicolette Denise Lara.• "Wave" anchors the project in the synthwave and electronic genres.• "94" represents his birth year and the start of his personal timeline.
The Reclamation: From Silence to SoundFollowing a 2024 marked by personal health battles and creative silence, Eddie returned in late 2025 to reclaim his narrative. The influx of releases in December 2025 was the opening of a long-guarded vault. It was a definitive release of the back-catalog he fought to complete during his recovery.
The Process: A Hybrid PhilosophyEddie utilizes a "Hybrid Production" philosophy to push the boundaries of the synthwave genre. He blends traditional MIDI composition and live keyboard performance with cutting-edge neural tools to explore new sonic territories.Whether he is performing complex melodies on his ROLI Seaboard or utilizing advanced digital tools to experiment with textures and break through creative blocks, the final arrangement and sound design are meticulously crafted within FL Studio.By combining human intuition with advanced mastering and modern tools, Eddie ensures that every NiteWave94 track is a sophisticated balance of classic soul and future-facing technology.
The Vision: Infinity Nite Music & 3EToday, operating under his in-house label Infinity Nite Music, Eddie’s reach is global. As an artist, photographer, and visual designer, he approaches music with a highly conceptual lens.Eddie masters a vast and evolving spectrum of electronic textures. His work spans the entire “wave” universe: from the high-octane energy of Outrun and Retrowave to the ethereal layers of Chillwave and Dreamwave.He further pushes the boundaries into the darker, more industrial territories of Darkwave and Darksynth, while maintaining a connection to the surrealist world of Vaporwave. By blending these retro-inspired styles with elements of Techno, House, and Experimental sounds, NiteWave94 ensures that every project is a multidimensional journey.
Moving into 2026, Eddie’s creative scope has expanded into a global partnership, founding the international group The Triple Effect (3E) alongside his friends Elena Florescu and Emiko Kimura. As a team of songwriters, singers, and multi-instrumentalists, they merge their vocals with live guitar, violin, saxophone, and bass over Eddie's electronic production to bring their shared ideas to life.The trio prefers the quiet, creative freedom of the recording process, choosing to focus their energy on the feeling and the story behind every track. For them, the best part of the journey is the human connection and the music they get to build together in their own private space.
