Eduardo “Eddie” Ramirez is an electronic music producer and visual artist who skillfully blends the comforting, nostalgic vibe of the 80’s with the thrilling energy of today’s electronic music.

The Sound & The Vision

Growing up in the 90’s, he was captivated by his mother’s music on cassette tapes, especially the simple, melodic loops of “on hold” music during her phone calls. This early exposure sparked his interest in electronic textures, which became his childhood soundtrack, associated with late-night TV ads, peaceful weekday evenings, and cozy weekend mornings.

The Piano & The Process

Back in 2012, Eddie learned to play the piano under the guidance of his high school choir teacher. Months later, his mother gifted him a Casio keyboard, which prompted him to experiment with GarageBand. This experimentation eventually led him to advanced production techniques within FL Studio.Today, Eddie’s compositions are influenced by his MIDI controllers, such as the Arturia MiniLab 3 and the expressive capabilities of the ROLI Seaboard. This combination has resulted in a distinctive style where each melody is physically performed, ensuring that each note conveys the emotional weight of a narrative.

The Tribute & The Path

Every part of the project’s identity is a reflection of Eddie’s personal journey and a tribute to the legacy he carries with him. He founded his label, Infinity Nite Music, as a dedicated memorial to his late sister-in-law, Nicolette Denise Lara.The word Nite holds a sacred meaning: it is a cipher of her name, constructed from the Ni and te in Nicolette, and pairing it with Infinity, Eddie signifies that her presence is eternal. While others may see a stylized spelling of "night," for Eddie, it is a profound connection to family.This dedication is so central to his identity that when he faced naming conflicts, he chose the name Midnite Highway specifically to preserve that "Nite" tribute. In this new chapter, Highway symbolizes the long, dedicated path he’s traveled and the exciting future he is creating, transcending the boundaries of Texas to complete a sensory journey with every release.

The Sonic Universe

His work spans the vast "wave" universe, moving from the high-energy pulse of Outrun and Retrowave to the ethereal, cosmic reaches of Spacewave, Dreamwave, and Chillwave. He explores the haunting depths of Darksynth and Horrorwave, while submerged textures like Oceanwave and Ambient connect to the surrealist nostalgia of Vaporwave and Mallsoft.

It’s a song for night owls and dreamers, bridging the physical world and digital ether. Listen to the messages hidden within the static.Originally titled “Lo-Fi Dreams,” it’s a foundational frequency for the Midnite Highway journey.

This is the soundtrack to a film that hasn’t been made yet. It is expansive, orchestral, and deeply narrative, using massive synthesizers to create wide-screen emotional landscapes. These tracks are designed to tell a story through sound, blending the grandeur of a Hollywood score with the pulse of modern synthesis.

Retrowave

A neon-soaked love letter to the 1980s. This sound captures the bright colors and optimistic energy of the era, filtered through modern production for a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh. It is the audio equivalent of a late-night drive, a CRT glow, and the feeling that anything is possible.

Outrun

Built for high-speed drives down a coastal highway at midnight. It is defined by driving rhythms, heavy basslines, and an unmistakable sense of momentum. This is the sound of the chase, the engine's roar, and the aesthetic of chrome and speed.
